Teen Innovators Accelerator.

A six-week build accelerator for young builders aged 13 to 22. Teams of two or three take a real brief from a real client, ship a working version by week 3, put money through it by week 4, and defend the whole record at a public dissection. The top teams are paid. Attendance is completely free.

TIA 2027

Six Saturdays. Morning and afternoon. One real thing.

Every Saturday runs morning and afternoon, and every week ends with an output that is public and cumulative. Teams work real client briefs, not classroom exercises. Applications open December 2026. TIC alumni are prioritised.

Week 1

17 Jan

The builder and the brief.

Morning: who builds this? Identity and conviction under questioning, then first principles applied to a real problem. Teams of two or three are formed and each takes a live brief from a real client, with the client in the room. Afternoon: interrogate the brief, strip it to facts, and book the week's customer conversations. You leave with: a four-section brief (problem, constraints, success criteria, what we will not do) and five conversations scheduled.

Week 2

24 Jan

Evidence or it did not happen.

Morning: how to have conversations that produce truth instead of politeness. What did you do last time this happened, what did it cost you, show me. Afternoon: live customer conversations, in the building, no hiding. You leave with: ten documented conversations and a decision made in front of your client: continue, pivot, or kill. Killing and restarting is a success here, and the culture says so out loud.

Week 3

31 Jan

Ship week.

Morning: the smallest true version, built for the Nigeria that exists: a ₦150k phone, patchy data, no patience for onboarding. WhatsApp before app, manual before automated. Afternoon: build sprint with facilitators circulating. You leave with: a working version live in a stranger's hands by 6pm. This is the non-negotiable of the whole programme.

Week 4

7 Feb

Money in.

Morning: unit economics on one sheet, and pricing as a courage problem. Afternoon: leave the building. The assignment is a first sale or a first signed commitment, today, reported back at 4pm. You leave with: first naira earned or first written commitment, and a public ledger of what your project has spent and earned.

Week 5

14 Feb

Distribution physics.

Morning: how things actually spread in Lagos: human networks, trusted referral, the market and the church group, not paid ads. Design one growth experiment measurable in seven days. Afternoon: recruit two or three outsiders, brief them, and run the first iteration while you lead without doing. You leave with: twenty-five real users reached and the experiment's numbers, whatever they say.

Week 6

21 Feb

Sharpen and rehearse.

Morning: attack your weakest number. Iterate on the one metric that embarrasses the team, with facilitators and client feedback. Afternoon: dress rehearsal for the dissection, with the hardest questions asked in the room before they are asked in public. You leave with: the build page complete, the numbers frozen, and the story honest.

Graduation

28 Feb

The public dissection.

Not a demo day. Each team presents the whole record to the clients, mentors, and the ATTP community: the brief, what the evidence said, what shipped, what it earned, what failed. The clients judge. The top three teams are paid. Every submission stays public on Launchpad, and the strongest builders are flagged for Fellowship.

At the end of the programme

What you leave with.

A shipped product

Not a prototype in a drawer. A working version that went live in week 3 and has been in strangers' hands ever since, built for the phones and networks Nigeria actually has.

Money through it

First naira earned or first commitment signed, with a public ledger of everything your project spent and received. Revenue is the syllabus here, not the appendix.

A client's verdict

You worked a real brief for a real organisation, and they judged the result at the dissection. Their name stands behind your work.

The evidence trail

Brief, customer conversations, ledger, users, numbers: public and cumulative, week by week. A record nobody can fake and nobody can argue with.

A certificate that means it

Issued only on the full record: shipped, sold, dissected. With your name, your cohort, and a link to the work itself.

The next door

Top three teams are paid at the dissection. Strong builders are flagged for Fellowship, First Cheque consideration, and future client briefs.
