What is TIA?

TIA is ATTP's build accelerator. The goal is not learning about building; it is a real thing, built for a real client, with real money through it, in six weeks. Teams of two or three take live briefs from companies and organisations, ship a working version by week 3, and defend the entire record at a public dissection. There is no cost to attend, no fee, no charge, at any stage.

Cohort One ran January to April 2026 over 13 weeks and proved the model. From 2027, TIA compresses into a six-week intensive: every Saturday runs morning and afternoon, every week ends with a public output, and the pace is the point. More demanding, and the output is correspondingly stronger.

The accountability is structural, not motivational. Outputs are public and cumulative: the brief, the customer evidence, the shipped version, the ledger, the users. By graduation each team has an evidence trail nobody can fake, which is simultaneously their portfolio, their Passport, and the programme's impact report writing itself.

The top three teams at the dissection are paid, because real work deserves real stakes, and the judges are the clients whose problems were worked, because they know their problem best.

TIA, TIC, and Launchpad are one connected programme. TIC is the open competition where the talent is found. TIA is what comes next for the participants who are serious, and Fellowship is where TIA graduates go to become the kind of leader who can carry what they build.

Who gets in?

TIC alumni are prioritised. The programme is open to young people aged 13 to 22 who are working on something real: an idea, a prototype, or an early-stage initiative. Solo founders and small teams are both welcome. Selection is by application and shortlist. ATTP looks for people who can show their thinking and follow through on their work, not just those with the best-sounding idea.

TIA 2027

Applications for the next cohort open closer to the start date. The clearest way to prepare is to enter TIC. TIC finalists and alumni are prioritised in the TIA selection process. Working on Launchpad briefs in the meantime is also a strong signal: it shows you can commit to a brief and see it through.

TIA 2027

Six Saturdays. Morning and afternoon. One real thing.

Every Saturday runs online, morning and afternoon, and every week ends with an output that is public and cumulative. Teams work real client briefs, not classroom exercises. Applications open December 2026. TIC alumni are prioritised.

Week 1

16 Jan

The builder and the brief.

Morning: who builds this? Identity and conviction under questioning, then first principles applied to a real problem. Teams of two or three are formed and each takes a live brief from a real client, with the client joining online. Afternoon: interrogate the brief, strip it to facts, and book the week's customer conversations. You leave with: a four-section brief (problem, constraints, success criteria, what we will not do) and five conversations scheduled.

Online session. Registration details will be confirmed before applications open.

Week 2

23 Jan

Evidence or it did not happen.

Morning: how to have conversations that produce truth instead of politeness. What did you do last time this happened, what did it cost you, show me. Afternoon: live customer conversations, conducted remotely. You leave with: ten documented conversations and a decision made in front of your client: continue, pivot, or kill. Killing and restarting is a success here, and the culture says so out loud.

Online session. Registration details will be confirmed before applications open.

Week 3

30 Jan

Ship week.

Morning: the smallest true version, built for the Nigeria that exists: a ₦150k phone, patchy data, no patience for onboarding. WhatsApp before app, manual before automated. Afternoon: build sprint with facilitators circulating. You leave with: a working version live in a stranger's hands by 6pm. This is the non-negotiable of the whole programme.

Online session. Registration details will be confirmed before applications open.

Week 4

6 Feb

Money in.

Morning: unit economics on one sheet, and pricing as a courage problem. Afternoon: take your offer to potential customers. The assignment is a first sale or a first signed commitment, today, reported back at 4pm. You leave with: first naira earned or first written commitment, and a public ledger of what your project has spent and earned.

Online session. Registration details will be confirmed before applications open.

Week 5

13 Feb

Distribution physics.

Morning: how things actually spread in Lagos: human networks, trusted referral, the market and the church group, not paid ads. Design one growth experiment measurable in seven days. Afternoon: recruit two or three outsiders, brief them, and run the first iteration while you lead without doing. You leave with: twenty-five real users reached and the experiment's numbers, whatever they say.

Online session. Registration details will be confirmed before applications open.

Week 6

20 Feb

Sharpen and rehearse.

Morning: attack your weakest number. Iterate on the one metric that embarrasses the team, with facilitators and client feedback. Afternoon: dress rehearsal for the dissection, with the hardest questions asked in the online session before they are asked in public. You leave with: the build page complete, the numbers frozen, and the story honest.

Online session. Registration details will be confirmed before applications open.

Graduation

27 Feb

The public dissection.

Not a demo day. Each team presents the whole record to the clients, mentors, and the ATTP community: the brief, what the evidence said, what shipped, what it earned, what failed. The clients judge. The top three teams are paid. Every submission stays public on Launchpad, and the strongest builders are flagged for Fellowship.

Online session. Registration details will be confirmed before applications open.

At the end of the programme

What you leave with.

A shipped product

Not a prototype in a drawer. A working version that went live in week 3 and has been in strangers' hands ever since, built for the phones and networks Nigeria actually has.

Money through it

First naira earned or first commitment signed, with a public ledger of everything your project spent and received. Revenue is the syllabus here, not the appendix.

A client's verdict

You worked a real brief for a real organisation, and they judged the result at the dissection. Their name stands behind your work.

The evidence trail

Brief, customer conversations, ledger, users, numbers: public and cumulative, week by week. A record nobody can fake and nobody can argue with.

A certificate that means it

Issued only on the full record: shipped, sold, dissected. With your name, your cohort, and a link to the work itself.

The next door

Top three teams are paid at the dissection. Strong builders are flagged for Fellowship, First Cheque consideration, and future client briefs.

Questions

Frequently asked

Who can apply to TIA?

Young Nigerians aged 13 to 22. TIC alumni are given priority when places are allocated, so entering TIC first is the strongest path in.

Is TIA free to attend?

Yes. There is no fee to apply or to attend the programme.

How many sessions are there?

Six Saturday sessions, each building on the last. Every session ends with something participants make or test.

Is it in person or online?

TIA runs fully online. Sessions are held virtually, which means participants join from anywhere in the world, Lagos, Kano, London, Atlanta, wherever you are. The graduation ceremony is also online.

Do I need prior experience or an existing idea?

No prior experience is required. You do need curiosity and the commitment to show up. Ideas are developed during the programme, you do not need to arrive with a finished concept.

What do I get when I complete the programme?

A certificate of completion, a graduation ceremony, and a body of work you built across the cohort. Alumni also receive ongoing access to the ATTP community and opportunities.

From the tribe

Ideas bring us together.
People make it count.

We like initiatives of social impact. We see that what All Things Podcast is doing is trying to drive social impact and awareness. That is why we applied. It means that people actually care about what we are doing. People that can do great things from a small place. At least we know that we came somewhere that people wanted to hear us.

Victor AdewaleRouteIQ · TIC 2024

This competition provided the opportunity for me to showcase my idea. It really means a lot to me. It enables me to express myself, my inner thoughts and everything.

Ismail RoyhannahPlastic Trade · TIC 2024, 2nd place

I have been able to network with my fellow tech innovators. I will tune into the podcast and also recommend it to my peers. It has been an amazing experience and I am glad this is happening.
