Get involved
Give your time. Build something that lasts.
Every ATTP programme runs because people give their time. Behind every student who goes through TIA or TIC without paying a naira is a team of volunteers who chose to be there. We have structured volunteer roles with clear responsibilities, real training, and proper recognition for the work you do.
Training
Every volunteer completes three required training modules before starting. These cover who ATTP is, how the programmes work, and the standards we hold ourselves to.
Tasks and reporting
You get assigned tasks through the platform. Log your hours, mark tasks complete, and check in monthly with your coordinator. No guessing what you should be doing.
Certificate
Complete a full volunteer term in good standing and we issue a formal certificate of service. Referees available on request, based on your actual performance.
Open roles (13)
4-6 hours/week (peak during application windows)
Applications Coordinator
You manage the pipeline of incoming programme applications — checking completeness, flagging inconsistencies, tracking progress, and ensuring judges and reviewers receive well-organised submission packs on time.
4-6 hours per week
Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
Identify, approach and develop relationships with brands, companies and foundations whose interests align with ATTP mission. You open doors to sponsorships, in-kind support, co-branded initiatives and long-term institutional relationships.
4-6 hours/week
Curriculum Designer
You design the materials young people actually learn from. TIA learning resources, Launchpad challenge briefs, participant handbooks. The quality of the experience depends significantly on the quality of what participants read and do.
5–8 hrs/month
Finance & Fundraising Volunteer
You manage ATTP's day-to-day accounts and work on fundraising strategy: tracking income, expenditure, and reconciliation on one side, and identifying grants, fellowship funding, and donor opportunities on the other. Both functions are financial — one tracks what ATTP has, the other finds what can be added.
3-5 hours per week
Government & Institutional Relations Volunteer
Build and manage ATTP relationships with government agencies, ministries and public sector stakeholders at federal, state and local levels. You navigate policy spaces, pursue public funding opportunities and represent ATTP in official engagements.
4-6 hours/week during judging periods
Judging Coordinator
Not a judge, but the person who makes judging work. You manage all communications with the judging panel, track scoring progress, send reminders, and ensure every deadline in the judging process is met.
2–4 hours per week
Legal and Compliance Volunteer
Qualified lawyer providing legal oversight and compliance support for ATTP. Advises on contracts, data protection, volunteer agreements, and the regulatory environment in which ATTP operates. Helps ensure the organisation functions within applicable legal frameworks and that its documentation is sound. A senior, trust-bearing role suited to a called lawyer who wants to use their expertise for social good.
5–8 hrs/month
Marketing & Visual Media Volunteer
You handle the visual side of ATTP's marketing — digital campaign materials, photography at events, video clips for social media, and promotional assets. You make ATTP look like what it is: a serious platform with a distinct identity.
