ATTP

Get involved

Give your time. Build something that lasts.

Every ATTP programme runs because people give their time. Behind every student who goes through TIA or TIC without paying a naira is a team of volunteers who chose to be there. We have structured volunteer roles with clear responsibilities, real training, and proper recognition for the work you do.

Lead positions

Three people run ATTP alongside the founder.

Not as helpers. Named leads with real scope, a personal reference from the founder, and first access in writing to any paid role ATTP creates.

  • Named publicly on this site with name and photo
  • Personal reference letter from Akintunde Idowu
  • Real management scope for your CV
  • Introduced as an ATTP lead at every Coffee session
  • First right of access to paid roles, confirmed in writing
  • A seat in planning, not just execution

Training

Every volunteer completes seven core training modules before starting, followed by any modules assigned to their role. The training covers ATTP, safe practice, data protection, programme delivery, tools, responsibilities and wellbeing.

Tasks and reporting

You get assigned tasks through the platform. Log your hours, mark tasks complete, and check in monthly with your coordinator. No guessing what you should be doing.

Certificate

Complete a full volunteer term in good standing and we issue a formal certificate of service. Referees available on request, based on your actual performance.

Marketing & Visual Media Volunteer

You handle the visual side of ATTP's marketing — digital campaign materials, photography at events, video clips for social media, and promotional assets. You make ATTP look like what it is: a serious platform with a distinct identity.

Mentorship & Wellbeing Coordinator

You own the participant experience across TIA and TIC — both the mentorship programme and the wellbeing of every young person in it. These are not two separate jobs: they connect naturally. The person who helps a participant through a creative block is also the person who checks they are not burning out. You work with mentors, track sessions, and make sure every participant feels supported through the whole programme.

Outreach Volunteer

You build and maintain ATTP's relationships on the ground — supporting the Partnerships Lead in making first contact with corporate partners, community organisations, and institutional contacts. You keep relationships warm between formal engagements and support outreach campaigns.

Platform and Technology Volunteer

You keep the platform running and help it grow. Bug fixes, site maintenance, and feature support. This role carries serious responsibility — participants and volunteers depend on the platform daily. It is a strong candidate to become a paid role as ATTP scales.

Programmes Lead

The Programmes Lead runs all four ATTP programmes — TIC, TIA, Launchpad, and ATTP Conversations — and manages a team of 13 volunteers across facilitation, curriculum, judging, research, outreach, wellbeing, and alumni relations. This is a named leadership role: your name and photo appear on the ATTP website alongside the founder's, separate from the general volunteer listing. You receive a personal reference letter from Akintunde Idowu and first access, in writing, to any paid role ATTP creates. You are not executing instructions — you shape how the programmes department runs.

Research, Impact & Opportunities Volunteer

You track the evidence that ATTP's programmes work, and you curate the external opportunities — scholarships, fellowships, competitions, grants — that are relevant to our participants. Both tasks are about what comes next: what did the participant gain, and where can they go from here.
