Volunteer role

Legal and Compliance Volunteer

2–4 hours per weekReports to: Executive Director

Qualified lawyer providing legal oversight and compliance support for ATTP. Advises on contracts, data protection, volunteer agreements, and the regulatory environment in which ATTP operates. Helps ensure the organisation functions within applicable legal frameworks and that its documentation is sound. A senior, trust-bearing role suited to a called lawyer who wants to use their expertise for social good.

What you deliver

Contracts, policies and consent flows that keep ATTP compliant and its young people safe.

How success is measured

Documents reviewed within the agreed turnaround and open compliance issues closed.

What you will do

  • Review and draft contracts, MoUs, partnership agreements, and legal documents
  • Advise on NDPR compliance and data protection obligations
  • Review and update volunteer agreements, codes of conduct, and terms of service
  • Support compliance with regulations applicable to NGOs, social enterprises, and youth programmes
  • Provide legal guidance on programme delivery, collaborations, and third-party engagements
  • Flag legal risks and advise on risk mitigation
