Season one launching soon
The ₦500 Company
A 30-day season where teams of young people start with ₦500 airtime and nothing else, and end the month with a real business that has made more money than it spent. Not an app. Not a pitch. Revenue.
The idea
No Nigerian school teaches the thing every Nigerian business runs on: money in versus money out. The ₦500 Company teaches it by making it the entire game. Every team starts with the same ₦500. Whatever they finish with, they earned.
Every naira is documented in a public ledger on the Launchpad. The leaderboard is simply profit, updated weekly. No judges scoring creativity, no pitch theatre. The bank of record decides.
At the end of the season, the top teams present not what they would do with funding, but what they already did with ₦500. That is a different kind of young person, and a different kind of story.

How it works
Register your team
Teams of one to three, aged 13 to 22. Every team receives the same ₦500 airtime on day one.
Build anything that earns
Sell a product, offer a service, trade, make something. Legal, safe, and documented. Everything else is allowed.
Keep the public ledger
Every naira in and out is recorded on your team page on Launchpad. Receipts required. The ledger is public from day one.
Top the profit leaderboard
Updated weekly. At day 30 the ledgers close, spot-checks run, and the most profitable teams win cash prizes and a permanent build page.
Who it is for
Young people who want to find out what they can actually do with almost nothing. You do not need to know how to code. You do not need a business plan. You need ₦500 worth of nerve and 30 days of effort.
Questions
Is this real money?
Yes. Every team receives ₦500 airtime at the start of the season, and whatever profit a team makes is theirs to keep. Prizes are paid on top.
What stops someone's uncle buying ₦50,000 of product on day 29?
The public ledger requires receipts for every transaction, and top teams go through a verification call before prizes are paid. Suspicious ledgers are disqualified. The rules are published before the season opens.
What can teams sell?
Anything legal and safe for their age group: products, services, food, digital work, reselling. The rules publish a short excluded list. If a 15-year-old should not be doing it, it is excluded.
Does it cost anything to enter?
No. Every ATTP programme is free for participants. The season is funded by sponsors.
