Access Fund
The programme is free. So is the door.
Every ATTP programme, TIA, TIC, Fellowship, is free to attend. No fee, no charge, at any stage. The Access Fund goes one step further: it covers the material costs that sometimes stand between a student and showing up.
What the fund covers
Transport
Reimbursement or upfront coverage for students commuting to in-person sessions who would otherwise not be able to attend consistently.
Data and device access
Monthly data allowances and access to devices for students completing Launchpad briefs or TIA sessions who do not have reliable internet or hardware at home.
Materials and resources
Printing, stationery, and any programme materials where access to physical resources would otherwise create a barrier to full participation.
Who it is for
Not for everyone. Exactly for some.
The Access Fund is not a prize or a reward for academic performance. It is a practical response to a specific situation: a young person who qualifies for an ATTP programme and is committed to attending, but faces a material barrier to doing so consistently.
Eligibility is based on financial need and demonstrated commitment, assessed through a short application. Academic results are not a factor. If you are already on an ATTP programme, or have applied and been accepted, and you need support to show up fully, the fund is for you.
Places are limited each cohort. Priority is given to students from underserved communities and those nominated through the ATTP school partner network.
How to apply
Tell us what you need.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If you are already enrolled in an ATTP programme, your application will be prioritised. You do not need to have started the programme yet to apply.
For schools and community partners
Nominate a student.
Schools and community organisations in the ATTP partner network can nominate students directly for Access Fund consideration. Nominated students go through the same application process but are flagged for priority review. If your school has an ATTP partnership or you want to establish one, contact the team.
The programme is waiting.
TIA, TIC, and Fellowship are open to any young Nigerian aged 13 to 35. No fee. The Access Fund is there for the students who need the extra step. Apply to the programme first, then apply here if you need support.
