The core idea: stop building what you think people want and start running experiments to find out what they actually need. Build, measure, learn. TIA facilitators reference this constantly during sessions because most participants are trying to solve a real problem without yet knowing which version of their solution will actually work. You do not have to agree with everything in it — but you need to have read it to have a useful conversation about product development.
