Plastic Trade connects waste collectors to recycling buyers, creating an economic incentive for communities that have never had formal waste infrastructure. Ismail proposed a system where plastic waste becomes tradeable currency — collected, graded, and exchanged through a lightweight mobile platform. The model targets the informal waste sector and turns an environmental problem into a livelihood opportunity.
