Appeal a decision

If you believe your application was assessed unfairly, you can submit a formal appeal within 14 days of your rejection notification.

Before submitting

Appeals are considered where you have a specific, grounded reason to believe the decision was incorrect, for example, if you received no acknowledgement of a key element of your project, or if there is an apparent factual error in how your application was assessed.

Appeals based solely on disappointment, without new information or a specific concern, will not be upheld. The process is not a second chance to improve your application.

Grounds for appeal

Minimum 50 characters. Be specific.

Appeals are reviewed by a member of the ATTP team not involved in the original decision. Outcomes are communicated by email within 14 days of the rejection notice. The outcome of an appeal is final.
