The brief

WHAT YOU ARE MAKING A practical four-week pilot that could help more girls participate in sport at one secondary school or youth organisation. START HERE With permission from the school or organisation, speak to girls, a teacher or coach and at least one parent or guardian. Find out what actually gets in the way. Do not assume the answer before listening. YOUR SUBMISSION Submit a short research summary, the four-week activity plan, roles for responsible adults, a simple budget and two measures you would use to judge whether the pilot helped. KEEP IT SAFE AND HONEST Do not interview a child without the organisation's approval and appropriate adult consent. Do not publish names, photographs or personal stories. The plan must include supervision, safe travel and a way to report concerns. GOOD WORK LOOKS LIKE The plan responds to evidence from one real setting, can be run with available people and facilities, and makes participation safer and easier without promising national impact.
