Design a Scalable Programme for Inter-Faith Youth Understanding in Nigeria

In northern Nigerian cities, Christian and Muslim youths often attend segregated schools, live in segregated neighbourhoods, and have almost no structured positive interaction. In some southern cities, the dynamic is reversed. Studies consistently show that personal contact is the most effective way to reduce inter-group hostility — but the current school and community structure provides no mechanism for it. Your challenge is to design a scalable inter-faith and inter-ethnic youth exchange programme for Nigerians aged 14 to 22. It must not require expensive residential camps, be replicable without foreign NGO funding, produce measurable attitude change over 12 weeks, and specifically address the interaction between northern and southern Nigerian youths. Submit a programme design document (max 10 pages) including: the exchange mechanics, facilitation model, attitude change measurement methodology, how the programme is delivered at scale without permanent staff in every location, cost per participant, and a plan to reach 10,000 young people in the first year. Judging criteria: 35% credibility of attitude change approach, 30% scale and cost model, 20% measurement methodology, 15% facilitator training and sustainability.
