The Community You Need
1 of 4
Hebrews 10:25 warns against giving up meeting together. That warning does not say: make sure you attend a good church. It says: do not stop. The implication is that the drift away from community is gradual and always feels reasonable. Busy seasons, hurt feelings, a church that is not perfect. But the person who stops gathering with other believers loses something that cannot be replaced by individual practice alone: the friction, the accountability, and the truth-speaking that only happens in real community.
