Philippians 2:10-11 says that at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow. Submission is not a personality type or a sign of weakness. It is the posture of someone who has understood who is actually in charge. For the young woman who is ambitious, capable, and building — submission is not the enemy of those qualities. It is the orientation that keeps them from becoming something dangerous.
